With The Clothing Swap and Drop, you don't need to throw away pieces of clothing you no longer want or need, but can exchange them with someone else who wants them. In exchange you get new-to-you clothing to replace them. This way, you can save your money and help make a change for millions of people and Mother Earth.

What is The Clothing Swap and Drop?
The Clothing Swap and Drop is a platform where anyone can receive used clothing in exchange for your unwanted/ -needed clothing items. This way, you don't need to keep buying new clothes and throw away the unnecessary ones, but can just do an exchange instead. The idea is to prevent Fast Fashion consume and fashion waste. Money is not involved in the process. Leftover clothes owners do not wish to take back home will be donated to local homeless shelters or textile recycling programs. Freecycle!
How Does The Clothing Swap and Drop Work?
How it works is that you bring a few clothing items you would like to swap to the Clothing Swap and Drop event. If you see an item you are interested in, you can offer to exchange one of your items for that piece. Depending on if the person agrees to exchange the clothing item with you - you got a great replacement! (If you don't want the item a person has to offer to you, but you'd like to give away your item anyways, you can do so - this isn't a very strickt organization. If you don't want to stay at a booth, you can just leave your clothes at a public booth and take some clothes from that public booth in exchange. If you still have any items nobody took at the end of the event, there will be a big box where you can just dump those extra items in if you'd like. These leftover clothes will be donated to local homeless shelters or textile recycling programs.
Who Can Participate?
Everyone! Anyone in the community or relatives to your community can participate. This could be family members, friends, students, teachers, former students or teachers, alumni/ae, staff, etc.
